Rebound Receives 100+ Women Who Care Northumberland's Largest Grant To Date!

Rebound Child & Youth Services is thrilled to announce that it has been awarded a generous grant of $9,090 from 100+ Women Who Care, Northumberland.

The grant, provided by the philanthropic organization 100+ Women Who Care, will significantly contribute to the development and implementation of updated Reintegrative Supportive Services (RSS) for youth involved in incidents related to sexual assault and hate-based offences. This funding will enable Rebound to provide these young people with over 3300 hours of programming, specifically around Healthy Relationships and Respecting Diversity, an essential component of the RSS stable of programs. Rebound, along with local law enforcement, recognize the urgent need for education and intervention for youth involved in these types of incidents, along with those struggling to understand social cues, leading to sexual assault matters.

"We are immensely grateful to 100+ Women Who Care for their generous support of our organization," said Nicole Wood, Executive Director at Rebound. "This grant will empower us to reach more young individuals, provide essential education, and offset the costs associated with delivering these vital services.

These programs seek justice for the victims while providing an educational opportunity for the young offenders, steering them away from a criminal record. This support is crucial for at-risk youth but also contributes to the prevention of future incidents by fostering healthy relationships and promoting respect for diversity. By investing in Rebound, 100+ Women Who Care, are investing in the well-being and future of our youth and ensuring they have the resources to navigate the complexities of our world.

Rebound extends its sincere gratitude to 100+ Women Who Care for their philanthropy, and we deeply appreciate their dedication to making a positive difference in our community."
