While we recognize that transportation can be a barrier to service at times, we are unable to provide services in your home, nor are we able to transport youth to/from appointments. We do offer services at various hub offices and other community spaces throughout Northumberland County (i.e. local libraries, OPP stations, etc.).

If my child participates in a group, can he/she earn high school volunteer hours?

Absolutely, on occasion when an older youth acts as a mentor while participating in a group program, volunteer hours may be earned. This can be discussed on an individual basis with the group program facilitator. Visit here for volunteer opportunities at Rebound.

Does my child have to be involved in other services to participate in summer/March Break/PA day programs?

All children and youth are welcome to participate in programs happening through the summer, during March Break, and on PA days.

Why is CUIP only for children 14 and under?

CUIP is an early intervention program, meaning that it is designed for children who are starting to exhibit early red-flag behaviours. By working collaboratively with our community partners, we aim to address those behaviours and provide support to redirect them in a positive way, so they don’t escalate into criminal behaviours or put the child in harm’s way. Visit here for more frequently asked questions about our CUIP program.
