Said Nicole, “As we celebrate National Youth Week, it is fitting that we make this exciting announcement today. Since 1997, Rebound has been dedicated to supporting the children & youth of Northumberland County. We are thrilled to be a part of the Wellness Hub and to provide a space where our local youth can thrive.
We look forward to collaborating with our young people to bring their vision for this space to life. Together, we will build a welcoming, safe, and inclusive environment. This is their space.
At Rebound, we understand the importance of providing integrated services to youth. That’s why we are committed to the transformative nature of the integrated youth services model that is Youth Wellness Hubs Ontario. By bringing together a range of services under one roof, we can better meet the needs of our young people.
The YWHO will be a place where our youth can access the support they need when they need it. Whether it’s mental health support, health care, recreational/social activities, or skills development, we are here to ensure our youth have the resources they need to succeed.
We understand the challenges that our young people face, especially in today’s world. That’s why we are dedicated to providing a supportive and nurturing environment where they can grow. As always, we stand by our statement that Rebound is “Supporting Kids Today For A Better Tomorrow” and with the opening of the YWHO, we are one step closer to realizing that vision.”
There will be significant renovations carried out at the site to better align with the specific requirements of the YWHO, ensuring that the space is fully optimized to meet the needs of the youth.
The anticipated opening date is Spring 2025.
