Kilometers for Kids is an annual walk/run for individuals and families (and their pets 😃) of all ages supporting Rebound Child & Youth Services. Rebound’s programs and services have helped children, youth, and families in need of support throughout Northumberland County with timely and responsive mental health and emotional supportive services over the last 27 years. All proceeds help enhance the development of our programs and services to ensure every child, youth, and family has the opportunity to reach their fullest potential.
This is our 10th year of #K4K and to celebrate, we brought back the 10KM race!
Rebound is thrilled to once again welcome community members to join together in Cobourg for Kilometers for Kids. In the spirit of community and our commitment to wellness, Rebound is proud to not only offer Kilometers for Kids locally but also allow participants to join virtually from wherever they are! We are so pleased to be coming together to celebrate wellness and raise funds for mental wellness in Northumberland County.
Our fundraising goal this year is $30,000!
How you can help us reach our goal:
Sponsorship: By being a sponsor, you will help us amplify our message and reach a wider audience, increasing awareness about child, youth, and family mental wellness. Your sponsorship will foster a sense of community and solidarity as we come together to address this crucial issue.
In-Kind Donation: Your contribution will provide direct assistance to children, youth, and families in accessing mental health services, counseling, and educational programs.
Corporate Matching: Check if your employer offers a matching gift program to double the impact of your donation.
Participate: Build a team of your family and friends, challenge your employees or coworkers, and join us at Donegan Park!

Along with registering, each participant is asked to raise a minimum pledge of $100 to help us achieve our goal!

Under 5’s FUN RUN
Ages 4 & under - FREE
The 10KM and 5KM family and pet-friendly walk/run events will begin and end at Donegan Park in Cobourg. Participants will enjoy beautiful views of Cobourg Waterfront, Victoria Park, and the Marina. During the event, there will be designated stops where you can take a quick selfie and share it with us on Instagram. Additionally, there will be a FUN-RUN course for children under 5, which is free of charge.
