At Rebound, we value diversity and prioritize inclusivity within the workplace. To realize this, we seek out those who are, and think, differently.

We grow through diverse perspectives and find success when we make this a priority. Our best teams are diverse, inclusive, and unified, and their outputs are of the highest quality. 

 

A message from the Executive Director

We have the privilege of living in a community where diversity is driving positive change in many sectors and organizations, Rebound being one of them. It is our goal to ensure that a workplace of inclusivity and diversity is reflected in both our strategy and day-to-day operations.

As a leader in this organization, it delights me that Rebound successfully demonstrates diversity through its staffing, programs, service lineup, governance, and culture. Having said this, we understand that achieving inclusion is an ongoing and active process. To ensure that Rebound continues to grow inclusively, we have set commitments and progress indicators to hold ourselves accountable. 

I am proud of our achievements so far, and I look forward to continuing this forward momentum.

The actions we are taking

Across Rebound’s recruitment and workplace culture, there are areas of focus that ensure our internal and external networks are embracing a diverse community:

  1. Developed a diversity and inclusion policy

  2. Establishing opportunities for staff to expand their knowledge of diversity and inclusion

  3. Maintaining recruitment and onboarding protocols to encourage diverse representation among staffing and governance

  4. Leveraging our brand voice to advocate for our clients and for positive change

 

The progress we are making

While progress is continuous and ongoing, Rebound is proud of the actions we have already taken and recognize the value it has instilled in our workplace:

  1. 100% of roles in management and governance are held by women.

  2. 100% of staff are provided with professional development via seminars/webinars, certification training, and opportunities for career growth.
