Rachel Edwards

Director

Rachel is a friendly and passionate individual who grew up in Durham and spent 13 years in Montreal starting from when she was 16. She attended Concordia University, where she received her Bachelor of Arts with a Major in Child Studies. Rachel moved to Northumberland in 2017 and has since become an integral part of the community.

Rachel has over 14 years of experience working in the non-profit sector, specializing in children and youth. In fact, some of her career included Rebound Child & Youth Services where she joined the team as a program facilitator, however, she quickly discovered her talent for spreading the word about the organization and raising funds. Her passion and hard work led to her becoming the Outreach & Fund Development Manager at Rebound.

Rachel currently resides in Warkworth with her partner Stu and their two toddlers on a beautiful property. During her most recent maternity leave, she decided to make a career change and is now working alongside her successful sister in the real estate world at NOCO Realty Group, Royal LePage ProAlliance Realty.

Rachel enjoys advocating for timely services for children and youth in the community. She is also an outdoor enthusiast and loves exploring new cafes in the county while enjoying a good latte. Additionally, Rachel enjoys volunteering her time to coach soccer to kids of all ages. 

Her friendly demeanor and passion for helping others make her a valuable member of the community.

Rachel joined the Rebound Board of Directors’ in March of 2023.
