CHILD & YOUTH SERVICES

Trusteeship

Read the impact

“The service that Krystyne provides to the youth in this community is invaluable. They know that they can count on her to be responsive and work collaboratively with youth and other community partners to help them reach the best outcome.

In other communities where there is no Trustee available, youth are often left scrambling to find an adult who is willing and appropriate to assist them in this way. The Trustee also bridges the gap between the youth and Ontario Works which can be intimidating to some youth.” – Child Protection Worker at Highland Shores Children’s Aid

Trusteeship

Rebound provides this program in partnership with Northumberland County: Community and Social Services. The Trusteeship program supports youth who are receiving social assistance through Ontario Works (OW) and Northumberland County: Community and Social Services. The caseworker supports young people through the application process for Ontario Works, connects them with housing support, and meets with community partners to best advocate for and support youth.
