Question & Answer

What do you like about your job at Rebound?

I am very excited to be joining the team at Rebound and continuing the amazing work to create positive change for youth and their families, while also advocating and raising awareness related to mental health within Northumberland County and beyond.

What are you most proud of at Rebound?

I am proud to work at an organization that is exceptionally client focused; with a team that utilizes its strengths and skills to ensure evidence-based and innovative service delivery to our clients, and the community.  Rebounds vision to ensure that all children and youth have the opportunity to reach their fullest potential is incredibly important work, and I am incredibly excited to be part of this wonderful team.

What does Rebound’s value, “ripple-effect” mean to you?

Ripple-effect is the cumulative effect of single events or actions.  Every interaction, every conversation, every relationship can build over time to have significant positive impacts on individuals and communities.

How do you like to spend your free time when you’re not at work?

I love to spend time with my family – usually outside hiking on trails, or swimming.

Do you have a personal motto?

I have two that I live by:

“The most dangerous phrase in the human language is we have always done it that way” – because change is inevitable and often necessary”.

“It does not matter how slowly you go, as long as you do not stop” – because life is full of challenges and curve-balls, but slow and steady progress can help you get to your desired outcome”.
