What do you like about your job at Rebound?
The variety of being connected to multiple programs, it helps with my work balance, and I love how it can help our services be more client-centred by allowing for smoother transitions for in-house referrals.
What are you most proud of at Rebound?
Our response to the evolving needs of the community. Evolving programs and services to continue to support the current presenting issues, age ranges, points of access, etc., of the children, youth, and families in Northumberland.
What does Rebound's value, "ripple-effect," mean to you?
To me “ripple-effect” means one positive support can create a chain reaction! Feeling supported in one area can open someone up to be encouraged to address another need, one positive growth can help someone go on to enjoy benefits in many areas, one person’s wellness contributes to community wellness!
How do you like to spend free time when you're not at work?
With family and friends, soaking up the outdoors in summer, and the comforts of indoors in the winter.
What is your favourite spot in Northumberland County?
The 401 stretch between Cobourg and Grafton (while driving for community outreach) to watch the seasons change: beautiful colours in the fall, and new bloom of leaves in the spring.
