Since Rebound’s inception in 1997, Rebound is proud to offer a wide range of supportive and proactive programming to empower children, youth and their families. Our services offer a private and confidential process which can assist children, youth and their families with options and resources for programming.

Referrals are accepted from: Youth, Parents/Caregivers, Schools, Community Agencies, Probation, Police, Crown Attorney. 

Services and referrals are coordinated by connecting children, youth and families with supportive community services.

The Lynn McMillan Bursary:  
For almost 20 years, Rebound Child & Youth Services Northumberland has provided supportive programs to children, youth and families in Northumberland County with the help of dedicated and enthusiastic volunteers. Lynn McMillan’s commitment to Rebound has been above and beyond, being a volunteer for more than twelve years. She is the ultimate volunteer. It is with honour and the utmost respect that we have developed “The McMillan Resiliency Bursary” in Lynn’s name. The bursary is for the amount of $500.00.She energizes, empowers and inspires! She has helped make young people in our community more resilient and continue on the path to their unique success.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA: To be considered for The McMillan Resiliency Bursary, youth must meet all of the following eligibility requirements:-Must be enrolled in an accredited post-secondary institution or trade program-Must have attended a secondary school in Northumberland County-Must have been involved with Rebound, as a volunteer or client, within the two years prior to bursary application deadline-Must be 17-24 years of age as of the bursary application deadline.

PROTECTION SERVICES/COBOURG POLICE SERVICE:   Cobourg Police Service unveiled their newly re-purposed anti-bullying vehicle at Notre Dame Elementary School. ACOUSTIC (Traditional) GUITAR LESSONS: If you are between 13 & 18, here is your opportunity to learn how to play the traditional acoustic guitar. Bring your enthusiasm! the instruction, guitar and music book will be supplied. Spaces are limited, please call Rosemary at 905-372-0007 x 227 for an application.

FREE Electric Guitar lessons are back for this September:  

WHO: Youth ages 12-16.  WHAT: 10 weeks of FREE guitar lessons. the day of lessons has yet to be determined but they will run from 4 to 5 pm. @ Rebound Child & Youth Services 700 D'Arcy Street Cobourg. Call Rosemary to register 905-372-0007 ext 227. This program is FREE but registration is required because space is limited to 5 participants. We are accepting applications for this program now. 

Attention Musicians: Volunteers are needed to assists the Lead Guitar teacher with lessons: consider sharing you musical talents, guitar skills and love of music with our novice musicians.
