Triple P is for every parent or caregiver of a child or teenager. It is a Positive Parenting Program, where you can choose the support you need. You will learn parenting skills and techniques to better manage family problems, as well as gain confidence in you parenting through using a variety of strategies and tools. Triple P aims to make raising children and teenagers easier.

We have seminars and discussion groups on the horizon!

Seminars: Most of the time, parenting is fun. You know you are doing a good job. But there are times when things get a little tricky. Like when your toddler won’t eat her dinner. Or your six year old won’t pick up his toys. If only someone could give you some ideas to make those times easier! If this sounds like you, then a Triple P Seminar may be right for you.

Discussion groups: The Triple P Discussion Group Series includes parent discussion groups on commonly encountered problems such as disobedience, fighting and aggression, and managing situations such as shopping with children and bedtime. The discussion groups are designed to provide an overview of the positive parenting principles for any interested parent. Parents are actively involved throughout the 2-hour small group format discussions.

Earlier this year, Rebound Child & Youth Services Northumberland embarked on a strategic planning process. We engaged stakeholders and partners from across the communities we serve in Northumberland. We asked the hard and pertinent questions about our organization. The goal was to develop a three to five-year strategic plan based on real engagement. Rebound has an important role with the children, youth and families in our community, and we know there are many challenges and opportunities before us. We believe that if we are going to continue to have a positive impact in this region, a focused and forward-looking plan is needed to guide our way. We are so happy to share our 2018-2021 strategic plan with you. We are excited about our future - it will be one that ensures that the children, youth and families we connect with are supported to grow to their fullest potential.
